In January 2012 Christies in London held the auction The Ski Sale Including a Private Collection of Swiss Posters, which included the work Wallis by Herbert Libiszewski. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,595.23), 72% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Wallis the most expensive artwork by Herbert Libiszewski that we have observed at auctions so far.
