Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The flight to Egypt by Herbert Fiedler was sold in the PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2004. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,195.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Herbert Fiedler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Circusparade I in November 2003 with an auction result of EUR 7,170.00.

Die Arbeit The flight to Egypt von Herbert Fiedler wurde im Juni 2004 in der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.195,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Herbert Fiedler auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Circusparade I im November 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 7.170,00.
