Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Amrey At The Breakfast Table by Herbert Fiedler was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2005. It changed hands for a price of EUR 2,400.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,000.00 – 2,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Herbert Fiedler - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Circusparade I, which sold at auction in November 2003 for EUR 7,170.00.

Die Arbeit Amrey At The Breakfast Table von Herbert Fiedler kam im Juni 2005 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 2.400,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 2.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Herbert Fiedler mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Circusparade I beobachtet, die im November 2003 für EUR 7.170,00 versteigert wurde.
