Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Henry Wyatt could be acquired at Christies in London in February 2002 for an unexpectedly low price. In the BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES auction, the work Portrait of Mrs Campbell, bust-length, seated in an interior changed hands for GBP 352.50 (€ 575.25) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Admittedly, works by Henry Wyatt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Group Portrait Of The Ward Hunt Family In A Landscape Before A River in January 2013 with an auction result of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,669.02).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Henry Wyatt konnte im Februar 2002 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES wechselte die Arbeit Portrait of Mrs Campbell, bust-length, seated in an interior für GBP 352,50 (€ 575,25) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henry Wyatt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Group Portrait Of The Ward Hunt Family In A Landscape Before A River im Januar 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.669,02).
