Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tower of the Giralda at Seville by Henry Stanier was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2011. The price achieved of GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,438.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henry Stanier - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Alhambra, Granada, At Dusk, which sold at auction in September 2004 for GBP 4,541.00 (€ 6,615.66).

Die Arbeit Tower of the Giralda at Seville von Henry Stanier kam im Juli 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.125,00 (€ 2.438,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Henry Stanier mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Alhambra, Granada, At Dusk beobachtet, die im September 2004 für GBP 4.541,00 (€ 6.615,66) versteigert wurde.
