Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work L'Élégante Convoitée by Henry Somm was sold in the Old Master and 19th Century Paintings and Drawings auction at Artcurial in Paris in October 2010. It achieved a price of EUR 1,200.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20 %. Admittedly, works by Henry Somm have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Elégantes au chapeau in January 2006 with an auction result of EUR 8,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit L'Élégante Convoitée von Henry Somm wurde im Oktober 2010 in der Auktion Old Master and 19th Century Paintings and Drawings bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.200,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henry Somm auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Elégantes au chapeau im Januar 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.400,00.
