Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Jockeys by Henry Robertson Craig was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in June 2011. The price achieved of USD 9,375.00 (€ 6,455.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henry Robertson Craig - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Dublin Drawing Room, which sold at auction in November 2018 for GBP 11,875.00 (€ 13,394.64).
