Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Henry Raschen could be acquired at Christies in New York in September 2004 for an unexpectedly low price. In the THE HOUSE SALE auction, the work The U.S.S. Connecticut, Flagship of The Atlantic Squadron changed hands for USD 239.00 (€ 192.48) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henry Raschen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scouting Sioux in February 2019 with an auction result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,182.18).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Henry Raschen konnte im September 2004 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion THE HOUSE SALE wechselte die Arbeit The U.S.S. Connecticut, Flagship of The Atlantic Squadron für USD 239,00 (€ 192,48) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henry Raschen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Scouting Sioux im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 13.182,18).
