Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2005 Christies in London held the auction BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES, which included the work Waiting for the boats; and Shipping in calm waters by Henry Martin. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 600.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 660.00 (€ 974.37). Other works by Henry Martin have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 1,080.00 (€ 1,603.83) in November 2006 for the work A Pair Of Cornish Coastal Scenes.

Im Mai 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit Waiting for the boats; and Shipping in calm waters von Henry Martin zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 600,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 660,00 (€ 974,37) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Henry Martin haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.080,00 (€ 1.603,83) im November 2006 für die Arbeit A Pair Of Cornish Coastal Scenes beobachtet.
