Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2009 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Crested crane, landing by Henry Koehler. The price achieved of GBP 525.00 (€ 590.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henry Koehler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work American The 1973 Belmont Jockeys in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 27,233.12).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2009 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Crested crane, landing von Henry Koehler zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 525,00 (€ 590,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henry Koehler erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit American The 1973 Belmont Jockeys im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 27.233,12).
