Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,738.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,800.00 – 2,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henry Constantine Richter - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pallas'S Sandgrouse, Syrrhaptes Paradoxus (Pallas), which sold at auction in December 2014 for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 8,045.82).
