Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Autumn Landscape by Henry Boese for USD 2,125.00 (€ 1,915.62). This price was achieved in the auction All That Is Glorious Around Us: Property from an Important American Collector at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henry Boese - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Afternoon At The Shore, which sold at auction in January 2020 for USD 5,250.00 (€ 4,732.71).
