Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2000 Christies in London held the auction Maritime and Naval Battles, which included the work Fishermen heading out to sea by Henriette Gudin. The price achieved of GBP 2,585.00 (€ 4,225.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 4,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henriette Gudin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vessels On The Bosphourus, Hagia Sophia Mosque Beyond, which sold at auction in June 2013 for GBP 10,250.00 (€ 11,963.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2000 führte Christies in London die Auktion Maritime and Naval Battles durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fishermen heading out to sea von Henriette Gudin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.585,00 (€ 4.225,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Henriette Gudin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vessels On The Bosphourus, Hagia Sophia Mosque Beyond beobachtet, die im Juni 2013 für GBP 10.250,00 (€ 11.963,59) versteigert wurde.
