Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A peasantwoman by a well by Henri van Daalhoff was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2000. The price achieved of NLG 2,340.40 (€ 1,078.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as NLG 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henri van Daalhoff - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lente, which sold at auction in January 2006 for EUR 2,640.00.

Die Arbeit A peasantwoman by a well von Henri van Daalhoff kam im September 2000 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von NLG 2.340,40 (€ 1.078,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit NLG 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Henri van Daalhoff mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lente beobachtet, die im Januar 2006 für EUR 2.640,00 versteigert wurde.
