Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 2,350.00 (€ 4,023.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Henri Ottmann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Gare Du Luxembourg, Gel. in February 2019 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 29,163.37).

Die Arbeit A female nude in a landscape von Henri Ottmann kam im April 2000 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.350,00 (€ 4.023,10) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henri Ottmann auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Gare Du Luxembourg, Gel. im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 29.163,37).
