Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2010 Sothebys in Toronto held the auction Important Canadian Art, which included the work Autumn Landscape by Henri Leopold Masson. The price achieved of CAD 4,800.00 (€ 3,681.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CAD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Henri Leopold Masson have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2009 the work Masham, Quebec was auctioned for CAD 8,400.00 (€ 5,602.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2010 führte Sothebys in Toronto die Auktion Important Canadian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Autumn Landscape von Henri Leopold Masson zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CAD 4.800,00 (€ 3.681,91) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CAD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Henri Leopold Masson konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2009 die Arbeit Masham, Quebec für CAD 8.400,00 (€ 5.602,54) versteigert.
