Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2014 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Abstract composition by Henri Goetz. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,890.01) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Henri Goetz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sans Titre in December 2015 with an auction result of EUR 22,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Abstract composition von Henri Goetz zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.250,00 (€ 2.890,01) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henri Goetz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sans Titre im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 22.500,00.
