A top price for Henri de Favanne - as previously expected
The work La Bataille D’Almança Ou La Bataille De Villaviciosa by Henri de Favanne was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in June 2007. The price achieved of EUR 28,800.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, La Bataille D’Almança Ou La Bataille De Villaviciosa is the most expensive artwork by Henri de Favanne that we have observed at auctions so far.
