A top price for Henri Brispot
The work En Province by Henri Brispot was sold in the 19th Century European Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in July 2019. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 87,500.00 (€ 96,069.18), 25% above the upper estimate. With this result, En Province is even the most expensive work of art by Henri Brispot that we have observed at auctions so far.
