Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Paysage by Henri Beau for CAD 5,700.00 (€ 4,092.61). This price was achieved in the auction Important Canadian Art at Sothebys in Toronto and was even below the estimate range of CAD 6,000.00 – 9,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Henri Beau have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2012 by the work Enfants Sur Un Pont at CAD 6,600.00 (€ 5,157.65).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Paysage von Henri Beau für CAD 5.700,00 (€ 4.092,61) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Important Canadian Art bei Sothebys in Toronto erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von CAD 6.000,00 – 9.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Henri Beau wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Mai 2012 die Arbeit Enfants Sur Un Pont mit CAD 6.600,00 (€ 5.157,65).
