Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2008 Christies in London held the auction Nineteenth Century European Art, which included the work Afternoon refreshment by Henri Adolphe Laissement. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,764.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri Adolphe Laissement achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Au Salon des Artistes Français en 1911 in September 2019 with an auction result of GBP 125,062.00 (€ 141,117.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Nineteenth Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Afternoon refreshment von Henri Adolphe Laissement zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.764,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henri Adolphe Laissement erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Au Salon des Artistes Français en 1911 im September 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 125.062,00 (€ 141.117,64).
