A top price for Henning Kles - as previously expected
In February 2011 Phillips in London held the auction The Valencia Collection, which included the work Bogey by Henning Kles. The price achieved of GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,184.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Bogey is the most expensive artwork by Henning Kles that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Februar 2011 führte Phillips in London die Auktion The Valencia Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bogey von Henning Kles zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.250,00 (€ 6.184,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Bogey das teuerste Kunstwerk von Henning Kles, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
