This artwork by Henk Dekker achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in January 2006. In the Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings auction, the work Shrimpfishers in the surf sold for EUR 3,120.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,600.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Henk Dekker; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot An extensive view of Vlieland sold at auction in September 2009 with the realized price of EUR 5,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 95 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Henk Dekker erzielte im Januar 2006 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings wurde die Arbeit Shrimpfishers in the surf für EUR 3.120,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.600,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Henk Dekker; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit An extensive view of Vlieland im September 2009 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 5.250,00.
