In February 2004 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work Flowering plants on a table by Hendrik Pieter Groen. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,135.25 42% above the upper estimate. Other works by Hendrik Pieter Groen have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 1,645.00 in March 2002 for the work Roses in a vase.

Im Februar 2004 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flowering plants on a table von Hendrik Pieter Groen zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.135,25 und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Hendrik Pieter Groen haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von EUR 1.645,00 im März 2002 für die Arbeit Roses in a vase beobachtet.
