The price achieved of GBP 11,950.00 (€ 16,925.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Wedding Party is the most expensive artwork by Hendrick Joseph Dillens that we have observed at auctions so far.
