In September 2006 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Peasants in an inn by Hendrick Bogaert. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,000.00 50% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hendrick Bogaert - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Still Life Of Earthenware Pots, Barrels, Baskets, Jugs, An Earthenware Plate With Fish, Together With Ducks, In A Barn, which sold at auction in May 2008 for EUR 11,050.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im September 2006 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Peasants in an inn von Hendrick Bogaert zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.000,00 und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Hendrick Bogaert mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Still Life Of Earthenware Pots, Barrels, Baskets, Jugs, An Earthenware Plate With Fish, Together With Ducks, In A Barn beobachtet, die im Mai 2008 für EUR 11.050,00 versteigert wurde.
