Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of GBP 998.75 (€ 1,533.13) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hendrick Bloemaert achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An Allegory Of Winter in December 2014 with an auction result of GBP 866,500.00 (€ 1,115,472.85).
