Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by Helmuth Dirckinck-Holmfeld could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in July this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work Scenery with bedouins at a well changed hands for DKK 1,500.00 (€ 201.18) - just shy of the DKK 3,000.00 estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Helmuth Dirckinck-Holmfeld achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ludvig Dahl's Children playing in Kongens Have Park with King Christian IV's Summer Residence Rosenborg Slot beyond, Copenhagen in October 2003 with an auction result of USD 31,070.00 (€ 26,763.72).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis

In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia wechselte die Arbeit Scenery with bedouins at a well für DKK 1.500,00 (€ 201,18) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von DKK 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Helmuth Dirckinck-Holmfeld erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ludvig Dahl's Children playing in Kongens Have Park with King Christian IV's Summer Residence Rosenborg Slot beyond, Copenhagen im Oktober 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 31.070,00 (€ 26.763,72).
