Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 'Der Gassenhauer (The Popular Song)', 1927 by Heinz Hajek-Halke was sold in the The Discerning Eye: Property from the Collection of Eric Franck, Part I auction at Sothebys in London in May 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,921.08) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Heinz Hajek-Halke - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Erotik - ganz gross!, 1928-1932, which sold at auction in February 2016 for USD 47,500.00 (€ 43,706.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 'Der Gassenhauer (The Popular Song)', 1927 von Heinz Hajek-Halke wurde im Mai 2017 in der Auktion The Discerning Eye: Property from the Collection of Eric Franck, Part I bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 12.921,08) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
