The price achieved of USD 5,019.00 (€ 4,673.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Allegories of Faith, Hope and Charity is the most expensive artwork by Heinrich Maria von Hess that we have observed at auctions so far.
