A top price for Heinrich Maria von Hess - as previously expected
The work Allegories of Faith, Hope and Charity by Heinrich Maria von Hess was auctioned at Christies in New York in January 2003. The price achieved of USD 5,019.00 (€ 4,673.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Allegories of Faith, Hope and Charity is the most expensive artwork by Heinrich Maria von Hess that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Allegories of Faith, Hope and Charity von Heinrich Maria von Hess kam im Januar 2003 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.019,00 (€ 4.673,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden.
