A top price for Heinrich Maria Staackmann - as previously expected
The work Scorching The Earth by Heinrich Maria Staackmann was sold in the 19th Century European Art auction at Christies in London in September 2004. The price achieved of GBP 4,780.00 (€ 6,963.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Scorching The Earth is the most expensive artwork by Heinrich Maria Staackmann that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Scorching The Earth von Heinrich Maria Staackmann wurde im September 2004 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.780,00 (€ 6.963,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Scorching The Earth das teuerste Kunstwerk von Heinrich Maria Staackmann, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
