Sold at the lower estimate price
In April 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings, which included the work A Landscape With Dogs Hunting A Roe by Heinrich Lihl. The result of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 7,080.35) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Heinrich Lihl have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A White Wolf In A Landscape in July 2012 with an auction result of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 28,658.95).
