A top price for Heinrich Lefler - as previously expected
In June 2006 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art Including Russian Pictures and a Symbolist Collection with a Richard Wagner section, which included the work Elisabeth And Tannhaüser In Front of The Wartburg (Recto); Decorative Sketch (Verso) by Heinrich Lefler. The price achieved of GBP 960.00 (€ 1,389.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Elisabeth And Tannhaüser In Front of The Wartburg (Recto); Decorative Sketch (Verso) is the most expensive artwork by Heinrich Lefler that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Juni 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art Including Russian Pictures and a Symbolist Collection with a Richard Wagner section durch, in der auch die Arbeit Elisabeth And Tannhaüser In Front of The Wartburg (Recto); Decorative Sketch (Verso) von Heinrich Lefler zur Versteigerung kam.
