Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Trees by a ford by Heinrich Hartung was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in January 2005, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 1,440.00. Admittedly, works by Heinrich Hartung have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Große Frühlingslandschaft in November 2015 with an auction result of EUR 12,900.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Trees by a ford von Heinrich Hartung im Januar 2005 bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 1.440,00 den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Heinrich Hartung auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Große Frühlingslandschaft im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.900,00.
