Auction result misses estimated price range
In July last year a collector was able to acquire the work Standard-Bearer in a Landscape by Heinrich Aldegrever for GBP 1,260.00 (€ 1,504.66). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master and British Works on Paper: Drawings, Watercolours and Prints 1500-1900 at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Heinrich Aldegrever achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lazarus begging for Crumbs from Dives's Table (Luke 16:19-31) in January 2000 with an auction result of USD 156,500.00 (€ 160,397.66).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Standard-Bearer in a Landscape von Heinrich Aldegrever für GBP 1.260,00 (€ 1.504,66) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master and British Works on Paper: Drawings, Watercolours and Prints 1500-1900 bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Heinrich Aldegrever erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lazarus begging for Crumbs from Dives's Table (Luke 16:19-31) im Januar 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 156.500,00 (€ 160.397,66).
