Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Western Art, which included the work Evening Storm by Heinie Hartwig. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 3,200.00 (€ 2,933.63) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Heinie Hartwig have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November this year the work Indian Encampment was auctioned for USD 5,376.00 (€ 4,928.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Western Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Evening Storm von Heinie Hartwig zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 3.200,00 (€ 2.933,63) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Heinie Hartwig konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November diesen Jahres die Arbeit Indian Encampment für USD 5.376,00 (€ 4.928,49) versteigert.
