A top price for He Xi - as previously expected
In June 2015 Sothebys in Beijing held the auction Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art, which included the work Aquarium On The Shore by He Xi. The price achieved of CNY 236,000.00 (€ 34,128.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 200,000.00 – 250,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Aquarium On The Shore is the most expensive artwork by He Xi that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Juni 2015 führte Sothebys in Beijing die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Aquarium On The Shore von He Xi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 236.000,00 (€ 34.128,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 200.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Aquarium On The Shore das teuerste Kunstwerk von He Xi, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
