This artwork by He Wuzou achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Poem in Running-Cursive Script sold for HKD 162,500.00 (€ 18,846.99) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by He Wuzou; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Calligraphy in Cursive Script sold at auction in May last year with the realized price of HKD 302,400.00 (€ 35,901.37).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von He Wuzou erzielte im November 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Poem in Running-Cursive Script für HKD 162.500,00 (€ 18.846,99) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von He Wuzou; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Calligraphy in Cursive Script im Mai letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 302.400,00 (€ 35.901,37).
