A top price for He Shaojing
This artwork by He Shaojing achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2021. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Running Script Calligraphy sold for HKD 100,000.00 (€ 10,570.77) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. This high result makes Running Script Calligraphy the most expensive artwork by He Shaojing that we have observed at auctions so far.
