Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy In Running Script by He Shaoji was sold in the Paintings preserved by significant Hong Kong collectors IV auction at POLY in January 2024. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 12,000.00 (€ 1,843.73) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by He Shaoji achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Draft Books Couplets And Poems in March 2016 with an auction result of USD 514,000.00 (€ 451,273.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script von He Shaoji wurde im Januar 2024 in der Auktion Paintings preserved by significant Hong Kong collectors IV bei POLY versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 12.000,00 (€ 1.843,73) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von He Shaoji erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Draft Books Couplets And Poems im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 514.000,00 (€ 451.273,05).
