Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2021 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Calligraphy Couplet in Xingshu by He Shaoji. The price achieved of HKD 126,000.00 (€ 14,015.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by He Shaoji achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Draft Books Couplets And Poems in March 2016 with an auction result of USD 514,000.00 (€ 451,273.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet in Xingshu von He Shaoji zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 126.000,00 (€ 14.015,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von He Shaoji erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Draft Books Couplets And Poems im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 514.000,00 (€ 451.273,05).
