Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphic Couplets by He Shaoji was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at POLY in Hong Kong in November 2021. The price achieved of HKD 336,000.00 (€ 37,359.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 250,000.00 – 500,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by He Shaoji achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Draft Books Couplets And Poems in March 2016 with an auction result of USD 514,000.00 (€ 451,273.05).

Die Arbeit Calligraphic Couplets von He Shaoji wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 336.000,00 (€ 37.359,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 250.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von He Shaoji erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Draft Books Couplets And Poems im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 514.000,00 (€ 451.273,05).
