Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2016 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture, which included the work St. Ives Harbor by Hayley Lever. It changed hands for a price of USD 2,250.00 (€ 2,039.52) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hayley Lever achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nocturne, Marblehead, Massachusetts in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 150,000.00 (€ 142,018.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2016 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit St. Ives Harbor von Hayley Lever zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 2.250,00 (€ 2.039,52) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hayley Lever erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nocturne, Marblehead, Massachusetts im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 150.000,00 (€ 142.018,56).
