Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Hayley Lever could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in June 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction, the work Spring In Caldwell, N.J. changed hands for USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,492.75) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hayley Lever achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nocturne, Marblehead, Massachusetts in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 150,000.00 (€ 142,018.56).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hayley Lever konnte im Juni 2016 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture wechselte die Arbeit Spring In Caldwell, N.J. für USD 2.750,00 (€ 2.492,75) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hayley Lever erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nocturne, Marblehead, Massachusetts im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 150.000,00 (€ 142.018,56).
