Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Super Hero by Hasuwa Tomoko was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2018, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for HKD 8,750.00 (€ 923.26). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hasuwa Tomoko achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Super Hero in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 43,339.01).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Super Hero von Hasuwa Tomoko im April 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für HKD 8.750,00 (€ 923,26) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hasuwa Tomoko erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Super Hero im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 43.339,01).
