In the British & Continental Watercolours including Original Book auction, the work Near Arley, On The Severn sold for GBP 2,232.50 (€ 3,162.04) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Harold Sutton Palmer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Wye Valley, which sold at auction in June 2002 for GBP 5,019.00 (€ 7,763.26).
