Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2002 a collector was able to acquire the work Seated lady wearing a red feathered hat by Harrington Mann for GBP 5,377.50 (€ 8,317.77). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century British Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Harrington Mann have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2007 by the work A Young Harrovian at GBP 11,250.00 (€ 15,752.91).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2002 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Seated lady wearing a red feathered hat von Harrington Mann für GBP 5.377,50 (€ 8.317,77) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century British Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Harrington Mann wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im November 2007 die Arbeit A Young Harrovian mit GBP 11.250,00 (€ 15.752,91).
