Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The white farm by Harold Rathbone was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2007. It achieved a price of GBP 3,600.00 (€ 5,336.87), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Harold Rathbone - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Maid Of The Cherry Tree, which sold at auction in September 2021 for GBP 11,250.00 (€ 13,089.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The white farm von Harold Rathbone kam im Februar 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.600,00 (€ 5.336,87) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Für andere Arbeiten von Harold Rathbone mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Maid Of The Cherry Tree beobachtet, die im September 2021 für GBP 11.250,00 (€ 13.089,53) versteigert wurde.
