Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art, which included the work A Cornwall Farmhouse by Harold Harvey. It changed hands for a price of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 9,335.92) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Harold Harvey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tulip pickers in September 2019 with an auction result of GBP 93,812.00 (€ 105,855.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Cornwall Farmhouse von Harold Harvey zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 9.335,92) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Harold Harvey erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tulip pickers im September 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 93.812,00 (€ 105.855,72).
