Auction result well in line with expectations
In March this year Bonhams held the auction British and European Art, which included the work Still Life With Summer Flowers by Harold Clayton. The price achieved of GBP 4,080.00 (€ 4,641.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Harold Clayton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life With Flowers In A White Pot in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 24,000.00 (€ 35,645.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion British and European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life With Summer Flowers von Harold Clayton zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.080,00 (€ 4.641,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Harold Clayton auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life With Flowers In A White Pot im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 24.000,00 (€ 35.645,54).
